Isabel 睿颐 Li (she/her) is a second generation Chinese American writer, filmmaker, artist, and scholar from Los Angeles.

Merging her creative practice in media production with her liberal arts background in humanities research (Asian American studies, anthropology, media studies, and musicology), Isabel is a public musicologist. She was the inaugural Classical IPR Fellow at Interlochen Public Radio, broadcasting daily live classical radio shows to over 15k listeners on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts. Her undergraduate thesis film, Play, Then, is a narrative classical music drama film that was screened at the 2025 Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Film Festival.

Isabel earned her BA in media studies (film/video) and music (history/theory) from Scripps College, Claremont, and completed a filmmaking program at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). She’s currently training to become a musicologist-filmmaker, learning Hungarian, and slowly using HTML/CSS to handcode websites (like this one!).
